When a cat licks itself, it is covered in saliva and dander. Nothing is done during the licking process to relieve a cat of tangles, mats, fleas, dandruff, skin conditions, and unsanitary things hanging from its hindquarters. Instead, after years of licking itself, a cat sleeps on the sofa or curls up on the very pillow you lay your head on at night.

At Stylish Paws Salon we don’t lick cats, we actually groom them. We use the best products, high quality tools, and advanced techniques to remove tangles and mats, degrease coats, remove excess shedding, clean up dirty hindquarters, trim nails, neaten up overgrown faces, and fix any other problems that a cat may have that simply are not fixed by licking. In the end, you end up with a clean cat that looks and feels better than you ever thought possible.

Specialized training for cat grooming

We are professional cat groomers and know our stuff! We received our training from the National Cat Groomers Institute of America, Inc, the only cat grooming association that offers effective, quality training for cat grooming and certification. We are currently working towards obtaining our Certified Feline Master Groomer certification. This involves passing a total of nine exams that include both in-depth written material and actual hands-on grooming.

Stylish Paws Salon offers a variety of services to meet your cat grooming needs.

Some of the problems you and your cat may be dealing with are tangles, mats, fleas, dandruff, allergies, hairballs, sharp or ingrown claws, shedding, grease, odors, and unsanitary conditions. No matter the problem, we are here to serve you.

Prices may vary for cats not on a regular grooming schedule since coats can deteriorate over time without regular grooming and maintenance. Don’t worry, though — we’ll let you know right away how much your particular cat’s grooming services will cost once we’ve arrived on-site and examined the good boy or girl.

Depending on breed and coat, Stylish Paws Salon recommends a 2-, 4-, 6-, or 8- week grooming schedule.

Rest assured: There will be no surprises, and you’ll get a tremendous amount of service for the price. We will work hard to earn your trust — and your repeat business.

Premium Services at Home

Our mobile grooming Salon has a special setup just for cats. We bring our fully equipped Salon right to your home for premium services for your cat. Our stainless steel tub has a shelf that brings the cat 9” up from the bottom of the tub so they are not sitting in water and shampoo. We provide one-on-one attention so no scary dogs or loud noises. We have big fluffy towels and hearing protection for your cat’s comfort while being dried.

We use the Catty Shack Vac patented drying system designed specifically for cats. In fact, we are the only mobile grooming salon in the area that uses the Catty Shack Vac, which means we can offer the most efficient drying process and produce the highest quality groom in the end.

We believe cats are better served by not being away from their normal home environment any longer than possible, and therefore strive to complete each groom in an efficient and timely manner.

What makes Stylish Paws Salon Different.

Greasy skin and coat combined with natural shedding causes matting. And once a small tangle or mat forms, it grows very quickly. The only real defense against tangles and mats is regular bathing and drying done by a professional cat groomer who truly knows what they are doing. Some groomers are not cat groomers and will groom a cat using products and techniques that can cause more problems.

We use our special training and knowledge to groom your cat to a ‘show’ finish, helping them look and feel better than they ever have before! We use only cat safe products including Chubbs Bars and Chris Christensen shampoos. We have found these products to be superior to all others — a further reflection of our commitment to luxury and excellence.

We use special techniques to introduce a cat to the bathing process each time, until we can see that they are used to it. We know from experience that cat owners report they have a very happy cat after it returns home from a day at the spa.

Benefits of Cat Grooming by Stylish Paws Salon

It can hurt your cat to NOT be groomed. Cats that are not groomed are prone to serious matting problems, skin conditions, painful ingrown nails, and a variety of other problems that, if left unattended, can cause irreversible damage or even death.

A cat that is groomed regularly (approximately every 6 weeks) will not suffer from such problems. Because the groomer is handling the cat on a regular basis and looking over every inch of its body during each visit, health issues that may arise can be found early on, and the likelihood of effective intervention is increased.

Pricing for Cats

All service pricing is based on pets with a healthy maintained coat. Additional charges may apply to pets who are elderly, matted, have behavioral issues or any other issue that may lengthen the grooming process. Sales tax is additional and will be charged as required by the municipality.
